MAN UTD News: De Gea request Man Utd transfers after Europa League exit

Manchester Utd goalie David De Gea has voiced out his frustration after seeing his side dumped out in the just concluded UEFA Europa League Semi Final. Man Utd suffered defeat at the hands of Sevilla - and David de Gea has issued a plea to equip the side with more experience next season.       It should be noted that Man Utd in this match squandered a host of chances, with De Gea been recalled at the expense of Sergio Romero who at tacit rule should have been on guard. The second choice looks forward to leaving the Red Devils after spending 5 years as a backup option to De Gea. But it remains to be seen if De Gea's position will be under any imminent threat by the emergence of England International Dean Henderson, who has been found to be impressive in his loan stint at Sheffield United. should be noted that Man Utd in this match squandered a host of chances, with De Gea been recalled at the expense of Sergio Romero who at tacit rule should have been on guard. I think we improved already this season,” said De Gea. "We were 14 points behind the third position in the Premier League. We finished third at the end. We played very good, I think, in many games. We deserved to be in the Europa League final, if we're honest. But maybe we need a bit of experience, more experience in the team, but we have to score the chances. That was the point for us from the game.

"Let's keep improving, let's keep fighting for this club and let's try to win trophies next season.

“I think we are playing very good football, attacking football, and we're all enjoying playing attacking football.

"There have been a lot of games, not a lot of rest, so we have a couple of weeks to rest, properly rest, and then start training again.

"The games go again and we have to be 100 per cent focused and ready to play our best football."

Currently, Man Utd are reported to be hot on the pursuit of English sensation Jadon Sancho, with his club Dortmund holding out for a deal worth close to £100M, a figure which the Red Devils have tried to reduce in negotiations. However, it remains to be seen whether the star player would eventually find his way down to Old Trafford come the opening of the new season.
